Graig Botswana Management Team

Ms. Rebatho is an accomplished Professional Accountant with a Masters in Strategic Management (BCOM, FCCA), with more than 17 years' experience in the mining industry, including 10 years within Corporate Finance at Debswana at the senior management level. She has also served as a board member in the Debswana Pension Fund, Botswana Accountancy College, and Pula Medical Aid. She currently serves as a director on the board of First National Bank declared the leading bank in Botswana. Ms. Rebatho has served as Graig's CFO and Director in March 2013, responsible for Finance, Administration, and Security. In May 2018 she was promoted to Managing Director, being the first woman and the first Motswana woman to serve in this capacity for a diamond mining company in Botswana. 

Mr. Thokgamo is a mining engineer, holding a BSc Hons Degree, with just over 20 years of extensive experience in mining. Prior to his appointment as the General Manager of the Graig Mine in 2017, he had served as the Assistant General Manager of Debswana’s Orapa and Letlhakane Mines on a temporary appointment basis. Mr. Thokgamo has the unique experience of having started a mine from a Greenfield project to a steady state mining entity, as he is the first Mine Manager for the Graig Mine. He has participated and led Management and Mining Workers Union Consultative and Negotiation Committees and has served as a Management Spokesperson.
